The Faculty of Law, Obafemi Awolowo University is one of the most foremost Law Faculty in Nigeria. The OAU Faculty of Law operates four undergraduate law programmes in law. To wit:
(i) Bachelor of Laws degree in Public law; LLB (Public Law)
(ii) Bachelor of Laws degree in Business law; LLB (Business Law)
(iii) Bachelor of Laws degree in Industrial Law; LLB (Industrial Law)
(iv) Bachelor of Laws degree in Jurisprudence and Private Law; LLB (Jurisprudence and Private Law)
Students are admitted into the respective law programmes if they satisfy the general university admission requirements for UTME and direct entry requirement. Admission into OAU faculty of law is strictly on merit and candidates must have a good performance in their UTME by meeting the OAU Cut Off Mark for Law.
OAU FACULTY OF LAW ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
OAU UTME Law Requirements:
English Language and any three Arts or Social Sciences subjects.
NOTE: The Obafemi Awolowo University does not accept Music, Fine Arts, and Principles of Accounting.
OAU UTME Subjects:
Five O/Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Literature-in-English and any two of Arts or Social Sciences subjects.
OAU Direct Entry Law Requirements:
OAU accepts;
First Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper plus UTME requirements.
