JAMB Subject Combination for Communication Arts

Communication Arts is studied under the faculty of Arts & Humanities in Nigerian Universities

1. Use of English

2. Any three Arts and Social Science subjects.

The choice of art or social science subjects is entirely up to you.

Special Considerations

1. UNIUYO – Music/Literature in English/Fine Arts and any two Arts or Social Science subjects.

2. Bowen University accept any other subjects in addition to Literature in English

In addition to Mathematics and English Languages, you will need to study these courses in your secondary school.

WAEC Subject Combination for Communication Arts

Official JAMB requirement for O’level is:

“Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language. Any three Arts and Social Sciences”

Special Considerations

1. UNIUYO requires a Pass 7 in Mathematics.

2. Bowen University requires 5 ‘O’ level Credits to include English Language, Literature in English and any other three Arts or Social Science subjects.

Direct Entry Requirements for Communication Arts

Two ‘A’ level passes or equivalent in relevant subjects. Five SSCE credit passes to include English Language.
