LASU-OSCOED Sandwich Degree Admission Form 2018/2019

1. It currently allows students to gain admission into year 1 without writing UTME.
2. It offers direct entry admission into year 2 for both NCE and OND graduates.
3. Contacts for academic activities are only during school holidays, thereby providing time to earn a living while earning a degree.
4. Lagos State University is a well-recognized university whose certificate is recognised all over the world.
5. Tuition is currently below 100,000 Naira and makes it one of the cheapest degree programme in the country.

Admission for 2019 Modular year is currently on-going into the following departments.

LASU-OSCOED Sandwich Degree Courses

B.Sc.(ED), B.A(ED) AND B.ED.: FOUR (4) AND FIVE (5) YEARS SANDWICH DEGREE PROGRAMMES IN THE FOLLOWING COURSES.:

1. B.Sc. Education: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Physical and Health Education, Educational Technology, Computer Science Education.
2. B.Sc. Education: Economics, Political Science, Geography, Business Education, Accounting Education, Educational Management.
3. B.A Education: History, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Religious Studies, French, English, Yoruba, Arabic.
4. B.Ed. Social Studies, Early Childhood Education, Guidance and Counseling.

LASU Sandwich Degree Specific Requirements for 4-Year Degree Program

1. Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit or TCII Merit Passes at not more than two (2) sittings with two (2) of the subjects at ‘A’ Level/NCE Merit Passes in relevant areas.
2. A University/Polytechnic 2-year Diploma certificate in the relevant areas obtained at not less than Merit.
3. A advance Diploma in Sports from Nigeria Institute for Sports.

LASU Sandwich General Basic Requirements

1. English Major: Credit Passes in Literature in English and English at ‘O’ Level or its equivalent
2. Economics Major: Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics
3. Physical and Health Education, Social Studies, Political Science Major: At least a Credit Pass in English Language and a Pass in Mathematics at ‘O’ Level or its equivalent.
4. Health Education Major:
   1. A Credit Pass in English Language and Pass in Mathematics.
   2. Holders of Staff registered Nurse and Midwifery Certificates are also eligible.
5. Mathematics and Science Major: Credit Passes in Mathematics and English Language.

Other Considerations

1. Mature Candidates with Passes at NCE who are not less than 35 years of age may be considered.
2. ICAN (Part II) and CIS (Part II) are acceptable for Economics.

Five (5) Year Degree Programme

• Five (5) O’Level Credits at not more than two (2) sittings
• Candidates with NCE but who fall short of entry qualification for the four-year Sandwich Degree Programme.

How to Apply for LASU-OSCOED Sandwich Degree Admissions

1. Visit the LASU-OSCOED sandwich degree programme admission application page: http://oscoedilesa.edu.ng/lasusandwich/index.php
2. Fill the Pre-Application form and click on “PROCEED WITH REGISTRATION”
3. Pay a sum of 10,000 Naira at any bank using the e-tranzact payment slip you printed.
4. Return to the portal after payment and login with your email or app number.
5. Complete the registration form and wait for the school to contact you.

NOTE: 
General English at NCE is applicable for O’Level English for all courses, except English Major.
Merit in Arithmetic Possessed at TC is acceptable as equivalent for O’Level Mathematics.
