COVID-19: GSU Suspends Academic Activities

COVID-19: GSU Suspends Academic Activities.

Further to the Circular from the National Universities Commission (NUC) Ref. No. NUC/ES/138/VOL. 63/91, dated 20th March 2020, directing all Universities to close for one (1) month as part of measures to contain and prevent the spread of the Corona Virus (COVID-19); the Vice-Chancellor. Professor Aliyu Usman El-Nafaty, has on behalf of Senate, directed the closure of the University for Students for a period of one (1) month with effect from Monday, 23th March 2020.

Accordingly, all Students are hereby advised to vacate the University Campus from Monday, 23th March 2020.

Academic activities are expected to resume on Thursday, 23rd April 2020.
