BSUM Orientation/Matriculation Ceremony Schedule, Gowns Collection Details 2018/2019.
This is to inform newly admitted students of the Benue State University, Makurdi (BSUM), the University Community and the general public that the 2018/2019 Matriculation Ceremony of Benue State University, Makurdi will come up on Thursday, 22nd August, 2019.
The ceremony will be preceded by a two day Orientation for newly admitted students on Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st August, 2019 at the Old Convocation Square, Main Campus.
Time for commencement of all events on the scheduled dates is 9:00 am daily.
Newly admitted students into undergraduate programmes for the 2018/2019 Academic Session are by this announcement enjoined to complete all registration processes on or before Wednesday, 21st August, 2019.
They are also to contact their Faculty Officers who will issue them with Academic gowns for the Matriculation Ceremony after payment of the sum of One Thousand (N1,000.00) Naira only using either Fidelity or Zenith Account Numbers 5030023693 and 1011136506 respectively. Academic gowns are to be returned to the Faculty Officers on or before 30th August, 2019 as late return of gowns will attract a fine of one hundred Naira (N100.00) per day.
Matriculating students are to further note that all days for the Orientation and Matriculation ceremony are lecture free days for them. This is to give them adequate time to participate fully in these events for their own good while in the University.
Note:
- Candidates who fail to register as stipulated will not be allowed to matriculate and shall be deemed to have forfeited their admission.
- Orientation and matriculation Ceremonies are mandatory for all fresh undergraduates of the University.
